Peristaltic pump tubes
Posted: 16 September 2016 05:07 PM

Does anyone know the actual type of material the pump tubes are made of?  They seem similar to the PhamMed BPT but I can’t seem to find any information from the Westco literature.

Thanks for any help.

Thank you Diane. The reason I was asking is that since the Unity move to MA., its difficult to order consumables as the new address is not in our purchasing system even though I requested it be added twice. And they no longer take credit cards on the phone.

Hope things change on both ends, and/or the online system becomes available.

Hi DT,
Thank you for your message. I believe the material is a type of PVC, but it is a proprietary formula - the pump tubes are supplied to us by the instrument manufacturer.

Best Regards,
Diane
