Reference values from UScan into SVF File
Posted: 14 February 2017 08:31 AM

Hi,

I have put reference data from our laboratory into UScan under Sample Details.  When I export the spectra to an SVF file, the reference values are not there.  I want to use these samples for calibration expansion and validation testing.  I hope I do not have to type them in by hand.

Am I missing something?

Kind regards,
Amy

Hello Amy,

I am sorry but we do not have that feature completed yet.  Please look to a future version of UScan and it will export the reference values directly to the SVF file.

In the meantime, I have made a quick report template to help you out short term.  Please follow the instructions below:

1)  Unzip and save the attached report template to C:\Unity\Reports
2)  In UScan, select the desired samples in the History view, press Export and browse in this report template.
3)  When the report viewer comes up, press the Export button in the top left, and Select Microsoft Excel (97-2003) – Data Only   format.  Save the file.

This file should easily work in UCal to import the data to your samples.

NOTE - you must have the service release 1.0.1.34 of the software for the template to work.  Please let me know if you need this.
NOTE - The sample numbers must be unique.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,
Bob
